The problem

What they needed

People following a diabetic diet often piece together recipes from many different websites. Nutrition details are missing or hard to compare, and turning a pile of recipes into a weekly plan and a shopping trip takes real effort.

The goal was one app that handles the whole path, from finding a meal to buying what it needs.

What we built

How the app works

We built an iOS and Android app around a library of more than 2,000 recipes. Recipes are sorted into categories and can be searched. Each one shows the ingredients, cooking steps, and full nutrition facts, including calories, carbs, protein, and fat.

People can save favorites and drop recipes into a weekly meal plan that shows each day's totals. The app then builds a grocery list from the plan. People can check items off and add their own.
